“Our tank can’t swivel it’s gun! Fritz!” Momo cries as she stands up. “What are we going to do!?”
“You could ram them?” You offer, getting a chuckle from Anzu. “Otherwise just hang back and offer fire support like you did.”
“That didn’t stop you from peppering Hippo team,” Momo points out.
“Well, uh, someone has to be the bait?” You offer to her. Momo doesn’t seem to like that answer, huffing and returning to her seat. “You could always ram them.”
“Don’t worry Momo-chan, you might not be able to do anything about them, but I can!” Yuzu giggles.
“That makes me feel so much better,” Momo sighs. “We will win right?”
“I think so,” you reply. “But at least this time there’s no threat of Ooarai being scrapped right?”
“Thankfully,” Momo groans. “It was like a Sword of Damocles hanging over us right till we dealt with it.”
You stay with them in the warehouse for the rest of lunch before heading off for lessons. You’re back in the warehouse in the evening.
All of the repairs that were scheduled to be done are done, giving you Friday to rest and do whatever last minute maintenance needs to be done. You’re still not back to 100% strength however, with some tanks still being struck off for the moment due to limited manpower on the repairs.
