Not only ruining the sudden mood between you and Yunyun, but also no doubt alerting the enemies below you all. You turn your head around just in time to see it looking up directly at you all, you immediately rising to your feet and sprinting away from the ledge.
“Dammit Aqua! You useless goddess!” you shout, immediately getting away from the ledge as you hear the assassin's thrusters firing up. “When this is over, I'm gonna strangle you!”
“Finally!” Darkness shouts as well, getting her feet up under her as she stands defiantly to the sounds of clanking plates. The proud crusader preferring her heavy plate armor over the stretchier, more elastic PTO armor you're sporting under your cloak to keep your torso safe.
“Darkness, you idiot! Get back from the ledge!” you shout, and immediately go into party leader mode. “Darkness, the moment it clears the ledge use your Lure skill to keep it focused on you. Use everything you've got to keep their attention.”
“Right!” she shouts, clutching her sword in both hands before her as you turn to Aqua.
“You, make yourself useful and keep Darkness standing. Use all your heals and buffs, don't let her go down no matter how much damage she takes or we're all dead!”
“No matter how much damage?” Darkness asks, you hearing her voice turning a bit breathy. Dammit Darkness, focus! It's not just your ass on the line here!
“Yunyun, keep Aqua safe. If she goes down, we all die.” you tell her seriously, eyes meeting again. But this time there's no heat, both of you deadly serious in the face of danger. “Conserve your magic and don't attack the ones attacking Darkness. I'll handle them myself.”
“Understood!” she replies seriously, drawing her enchanted short sword in one hand and her wand in the other as you activate your more advanced version of Lurk, Concealment. Seemingly disappearing into thin air. “Where will you be standi...huh?”
You immediately move, keeping low and quiet as you circle wide out to the right of your team and preparing to line up your shot. As you're moving, the first of the metal ninjas crest the ridge. Darkness immediately activates her taunt skill with a shout of “HEY! FIGHT ME!” as they do. Fortunately, her taunt ability functions on these robots much like it would on any trash mob in any mmorpg. Which makes this fight winable, even if your team is severely underleveled for this dungeon run. It immediately transforms its right arm into a saw blade, swinging the cutting disc for Darkness's torso which she blocks with her sword.
