Just as they were moving west they felt the cannon fire of the hidden T-8s in the woods, oh the irony that they used the tactics that their ad-hoc battalion used on the opening engagement and it worked brilliantly. Rheiner called out in shock when he saw the cannon fire tear into tank 2, he shouted out "Johan!" and was about to mourn the death of the second in command and his crew but then he saw them crawling out of the wreckage before they got torn to shreds by any secondary detonations. "Thank Judge... Any survivors get on the tanks we're getting y-" He sighed out as he spoke shortly before a tank shell hit the mantle and shook the crew around.
Rheiner got it the worst from them all considering he was in a position where he was right at the gun mantle, his head hit the side of the wall and everything was temporarily dark for him. He came to his senses just when they were about to enter the forest, he took a look around when all he heard for a moment was a constant ringing, he seemed unresponsive to the calls from his crew and the other commanders until the ringing subsided. "-I'm telling you, we have to retreat deeper into the forest!" Was the first thing Rheiner heard over the platoon net. He grasped the side of his head where the impact was, luckily his hat was thick enough to prevent any major bruising or cuts, but he was still bleeding from the side of his mouth, he bit into his cheek hard when he was unconscious for a few seconds.
His equally inexperienced crew were panicked and unsure on what to do obviously, Rheiner would be too if it weren't for the fact that he felt guilty and obligated to do better. The platoon trusted him with their lives, and he almost got them all killed for it. He was overzealous, now they paid the price for it. "We're staying." Rheiner replied in a pained voice, followed by some objections. "Trust me, we'll- We'll fire at them and dip deeper into the forest after."
Rheiner couldn't help but stare at the wreckage and ponder.

"Artillery, if you're ready to fire again I want three more salvos at 19 to 20 grid qq and 21rr. If you're not ready then get to it fast, we need the heaviest you got! I want these T-15s to regret ever coming here!"
