Out of the many unforeseen side-effects of a culinary clash, this one certainly will be the most memorable, either because Vivienne will be outed as the drama queen she is, or that a cake (without any magic properties) has the power of… whatever it is doing to this ice cold lady.
Inside the locker room, Vivienne furiously fidgets — unlike Ajna’s panicky fidgets — in a fever fit on the makeshift bed you built from the various things you could find inside, mainly the many goofy costumes, including some hilarious mascot ones. The former cultist explained in detail the effects the baked flour confection had on her body and how she literally believes it’s some sort of brainwashing. Well, not some sort, she believes it is and that’s final.
Now, you’re not the kind of person who dismisses a proper lady’s concern, and the existence of brainwashing is something you’ve seen yourself; but this feels like a stretch! You only baked a cake! Nothing more, nothing less! Everyone who ate the damn thing loved it. You can say the varied reactions you got were out of proportion, but they didn’t go through an episode like this, the only exception being Ivanna — who just fainted! Which is fundamentally different from what’s happening here.
With all that in mind, it’s undeniable that Vivienne is not having a good time, or at the very least, is acting off, so you better do something about it and help her out.
