The Awakening he could feel from Kai almost led to his own monstrous form being released. Skin bulged and tried to split, scars spilt crimson fluid that hardened nearly immediatly into a scabs that disappeared just as quickly. His monster side wanted to come forth to crush, rend flesh and burn everything to ash that existed in this worl.
But his pride demanded to stick to their agreement and he roared in response pushing his human body to its limit to keep up with the Speed he had build up. Something in him told him that without a lot of luck he would not win but still better to take the shot and miss than never try at all.
