“Yes, both do.” Jesse knows it’ll take less time to answer your questions than to complain about wasting time, after you said you shouldn’t waste it. “Answer me this first: why do you want to know?”
“Curiosity.” You’re honest. “Besides, I think it might be important.”
“Just keep in mind if you do anything to them, <span class="mu-i">I</span> also know people you care about.” Jesse won’t hide that he’s willing to do bad things to keep you at bay.
