He nodded with approval and began walking forward, the remaining candy which clung to him melted away into sludge as he did so. Perospero did not understand this.
"WHAT?! I can understand the Germa wench breaking it! But how could you alter MY candy?!"
"I did not alter it. I digested it!"
With a flex Toxins veins blackened and an acidic poison started dripping from his pores which dissolved the candy on contact.
"Now... remember the promise I made when we last met?"
Feeling threatened Perospero erected a dome of candy around him. Reiju didn't care.
"Poison Arrow!"
She breathed a long trail of toxic vapors which shot out in a straight line, aiming to pierce the candy wall but failed to penetrate it completely. But it didn't have to. Gu rushed up to the wall even as spikes sprouted form it and he smashed his palm into it. The vibrations from his Hasshoken facilitated the spread of the poison throughout the structure and using it as a medium he altered the composition of it to become more malleable. With a second thrust he sent a wave of force through the semi-liquid candy, causing it to burst on the other side and spray Perospero with the dews of poisonous syrup. He screamed as his face began sizzling.
As his defenses broke down around him Perospero heard Toxin approach him.
