You place the crown on Nariko’s head, and perceive her going through the same process as you did, and even notice her eyes turning a shade of light blue. She’s in awe as she lays her eyes on you due to the beam she must be seeing. You nod at her trying to signal that she should be discreet.
“Can I keep it?” Greedy Queen Nariko wants the crown for herself and no one else.
“Hmmm…. No!” Amelia wants her turn.
“You must follow Mama Bear’s will! Ya hear me?!” Ursula gets aggressive.
“Why are you still pretending to care about her?” Tonu is so confused. He didn’t even listen to her side of the story and he’s already assuming she’s the worst. You don’t know if you should give him credit or not for this. Is his intuition good? Or is he an asshole who thinks the worst of people? And if it’s the latter, how do you explain his backstory? Good thing you’re not into character analysis, less so on real people…
“You’re not one to tell me that!” Ursula doesn’t like Tonu, and that’s never going to change.
“Here’s your crown, Ame.” Nariko places it on the dummy pedestal.
“WOAH!” Amelia acts like what she’s watching is incredible! Her eyes begin turning blue, but… “It really itches!” Amelia scratches her head and immediately takes off the crown. She didn’t notice shit. Both you and Nariko are disappointed in her. “Anyone else want to try it?”
“I’d love to!” Door guy wants a taste. Amelia puts it on him, but the crown doesn’t trigger its ability on him. He’s the only one who takes a selfie with it. Door guy gives it back to Amelia. “You were right, Amelia. It’s really itchy.”
“I know, right?” Amelia nods rapidly. “Who’s next?”
“Meh-eh, I’ll pass, I’ve broken my fair share of relics…” Tonu doesn’t care.
“I’d love to be a part of whatever this peculiar ritual you’re doing is.” Principal Gainsbourg cuts in.
“Go away, lady.” You shush her! She gives all of you more space, looking dejected.
“What about you, Ursula?” Amelia wants to offer the crown to her least loyal subject.
“Mama Bear, I’m not worthy… This is your crown. You earned it. But I…” Ursula feels an extreme amount of guilt over all she did to Amelia. “I just took advantage of you, Mama Bear. And the truth is—”
“O.K.! What should we do with it?” Amelia moves on before Ursula can get all sentimental. The Right-Paw girl is in shock! She wanted to be honest with Ame, but your little sister couldn’t give less of rawr! Big mistake dropping your backstory when the one who needed to hear it the most wasn’t there…
