She felt a chill run along her spine colder than even the embrace of the grave and she heard a growl but when she turned to look at its source she saw nothing. Were there any witnesses or indeed, any form of life remaining on the island and were they a safe enough distance away they could've seen shadows move within the fog that they couldn't quite describe, and hear an old woman dying a death most foul.
Only several hours later did you finally manage to wake up to the steady beeping of some machine hooked up to you. The surroundings are not familiar to you so naturally you're suspicious of things.
"Did I die?"
"Not yet."

"But you did call me an angel when I pulled you out so you got close."

"The Germa Fleet. I brought you here once I heard things dying down. I found you next to Big Mom. Congratulations. Looks like you were more tenacious. But you were badly injured so I brought you here. I had our best doctors take a look at you. With Father gone they can not disobey me."
"Why?"
"Call it professional courtesy. But I must say you did not make it easy. Our surgeons kept passing out in your vicinity even though you were unconscious."

"Don't mention it. I was just returning the favor. Though I'm not too happy about it my father deserved no less."
"How are you?"
"Not sure. Though I was not stripped of my emotions feelings will not get you far in this line of business. As such I don't feel too strongly about him. But he was still my father on some level. I can't say the same about my brothers, especially Sanji. Ichiji, Niji and Yonji are happy being unshackled but they'll still attempt to kill you out of principle. Only the fact that they also kept passing out prevented them so far. Sanji though, I don't think he took it well. He really was too good for this family."

"Both them and Sanjis friends managed to evade the fleets of Big Mom. Her children were too scared and disorganized to pursue them effectively. Sanji and his friends hid on one of the islands while the Firetanks split from them and escaped Big Moms territories. The Straw Hats are apparently waiting for their captain who engaged one of the Sweet Commanders. As for your friends, nobody knows where they went. They simply disappeared."
