[???] "LOOOK OOOOOUUUUUT!"
'Huh?!'
I narrowly dodged somethi- Someone flying right for me!
'What the-'
[???] "Hoyo! Sorry about that! I sometimes can't control how fast I'm going!" Apologized a young man to me quickly.
I looked at the figure now that he stopped properly, elevated in the air by the crow-like wings attached to his hips that flapped up and down fast. He turned and faced me. He wore a silk tabard with the words "Wind God" emblazoned on it, and a mask over his face.
This couldn't be a Trinity god, could it?
[???] "Hoyo, who're you anyway? Flying up here this high enough to catch a cumulus! You must be an Immortal too."
'I am. Although, I'm more curious about you! You were moving so fast I almost couldn't dodge that.'
[CRICKET FEET] "Oh, where's my manners? I'm Cricket Feet, that's my name! I'm one of the promoted deities of the Trinity Kingdom, created by none other than the great Bedolfir himself! I'm under the direct employ of Lord Sarakha himself, so I'm basically his slave. They needed someone to replace the last wind guide after he disappeared anyway! My job's basically to control the wind across the globe and give it direction. Oh, but I just control all directions anyhow."
'Interesting... My name is Muna. I was just taking a look around myself and seeing what there is out here. Excuse me if I'm interrupting some important business of an esteemed Trinitarian.'
[CRICKET FEET] "Oh, no worries! I'm just looking too. I'm kind of like the eyes of the Trinity. Since I'm the fastest in Hainei, nobody ever knows I'm there looking and listening. Ugh, but for being the eyes of Lord Sarakha himself, I sure don't get a lot done..."
'Oh? How come?'
[CRICKET FEET] "Well, I've been tracking that rebel Namithene on the mainlands. Sarakha's usually got Doreikami after her in the Frostreach. It's just that neither of us seem to make any headway, and we're always too late to where reports of her being sighted happen at that she's always long gone anyway. Honestly, I don't know how she does it. When I'm not following orders, I just stand around striking poses and pointing in the direction the trade winds need to go. I kind of want something else to do... but I digress! Even if I don't find her, I'll find some rebels here today to round up."
[CRICKET FEET] "Ah, sorry. I'm running my mouth too much. All this bureaucratic stuff must be boring you to death."
'Oh, not at all, I assure you... I always find it interesting what goes on in the lives of the government's gods.'
[CRICKET FEET] "Hoyo? Really? I didn't think any Immortals were interested in anyone but themselves..."
'I'd even go as far to ask if you'd be willing to answer some curiosities I had, if you have the time.'
[CRICKET FEET] "Y-You mean you're actually interested in the stuff I do? Well.. okay then! It won't hurt to talk for a minute!"
