Motherfucker is trying to turn them against you, huh-
"SILENCE!" Captain Abraham barks out. "DO NOT LET HIM SULLY YOUR MIND! HOLD YOUR GOD DAMN TONGUES!" And then, everyone is silent again. The Admiral watches this display with thinly veiled amusement.
"Last one. What do you know about the men in silver? The ones who glow in the dark? Tell me that."
The Admiral's smirk disappears in a flash. <span class="mu-s">"Denied. I am unwilling to spill secrets on a group I share mutual interests with. Some information is too important to be shared, even to you."</span> Wait, mutual interests?
"These motherfuckers are hunting me down. If your mutual interests involve hunting down entities just like you, then you're a god damn paradox." You grit your teeth as you try your best to keep your emotions under control.
<span class="mu-s">"If you are unable to protect yourself from them, then that is not my problem."</span> The Admiral stares down at you with a spiteful, conceited sneer. <span class="mu-s">"I believe that is enough. It is time for the game to start."</span>
Adam finally snaps out of the fear induced trance the anomaly has inspired. He takes slow and hesitant steps towards the Admiral until he's only ten feet away from it. "Listen. My friend." He jabs a finger at Benedict. "Was turned into an anomaly by those sons of bitches. He wasn't supposed to be like this. They're trying to make people like you."
The Admiral's eyes widen a bit on hearing this news. <span class="mu-s">"Very, very interesting. Tell me more."</span>
"I-I don't know what their plan is but if I had to make a guess? They're trying to figure out how things like YOU are made. So they can kill them easier. You killed god knows how many people but how many of them KNEW how you worked?"
<span class="mu-s">"You want a number? One million, two hundred eighty six thousand, six hundred sixty two."</span> He casually responses, like he was describing what the weather was like.. <span class="mu-s">"Only a few hundred knew my true nature. Even fewer were left alive to tell my tale."</span>
"Then you know as well as I do that when it comes to business like this, they rather have an out in case you get too out of control, Admiral. They're trying to play you like a god damn fiddle!"
>22!
A rush of anger, amusement, and disappointment rushes across the Admiral's face before it stabilizes into a single stony frown. <span class="mu-s">"I see how it is now."</span> He takes a moment to crack his neck in a single fluid motion before turning his attention back to you. <span class="mu-s">"So be it. I will tell you what I know. Three out of three."</span> He raises up his hand and snaps his fingers.
In a flash of purple and black lightning, a chess board appears between you and the Admiral. Shit, okay, the game's already starting. You raise up your digital camera and, with a deep breath, you try to take a picture.
>26!
The camera damn near implodes when you tried to snap a picture but the bomber jacket snugly clinging to your torso seems to keep the camera stable enough for JUST long enough for you to take a few pictures.
