>Follow the Digimon traces. If there are multiple groups of them living in the Hospital's vicinity, they might know each other. Digimon packs often have social dynamics localized around their feeding grounds. You could get a clue about Cutemon's whereabouts from them.
<span class="mu-s">"I think we've got a little bit. It won't be anything I can't handle."</span>
The two of you start following the tracks. They take you a bit closer to the building, and you pass through a small garden with blocky hedges and low-definition shrubs. The greenery here is particularly saturated in color, like they're trying to breathe extra life into it. It's much brighter around the Hospital, making it difficult to avoid looking suspicious. You do your best to avoid the windows, but luckily, no bots seem to be patrolling inside or outside.
"Hey, they're getting more distinct."
<span class="mu-s">"I'm starting to make out footprints."</span>
You pause beneath a coolant unit, examining how it's fastened to the wall. The Hospital itself has numerous rooms that are sequestered away from the outside world, and they require numerous external blocks to provide them with storage space and temperature reduction. You assume there's some kind of resource allocation protocol accessible from within. It could serve as an entry point for later.
<span class="mu-s">"Marnie, move!"</span>
You step backwards immediately, dodging the flowerpot coming from above. It slams heavily into the ground and bounces wildly, rolling off into the bushes. While you look around for your attacker, you hold your Digivice up and prepare to send Phascomon out. He's wary of an ambush coming from the ground level, and is raring to go, but you don't want to hololize him until absolutely necessary.
"Damn, that's gotta be a Digimon."
Or some jerk throwing furniture out of their room, but that seems unlikely. You stare at the edge of the building and try to make out any further motion.
