Weirdo quest I had like 4+ years ago. I drew only this image. The idea was that everyone and everything on Earth was dying and old, and we took the perspective of a memory-wiped person. He would be a young/middle aged man in a village of only boys, with a girl village farther away- the sexes kept separate. Everyone had their memories wiped and had new names given by their job- MC would be "raincatcher" his only job was to collect rainwater, the different devices and half-finished funnels represent something being incomplete.
Everyone was in a child-like state because of the NAKI, a race of god-like beings who live on Earth now. They're very friendly but also capricious and cruel towards humans. It is revealed that they hate sex and love- as it causes them physical pain- so they enslaved Earth to destroy all romantic love and sex among all living creatures on the planet as they flew overhead in their magical spaceship. The MC would eventually find himself interested in a girl in the girl village and with their love would hurt the Naki and potentially save humanity from their fate of death by old age.
I decided not to do this Quest because I felt it was too sexual and romantic (at least early on in my Questing career, nowadays I just think it's a bit boring). And I also thought it was a bit too "highbrow" to just run as is. I realize I'm spoiling it if I did decide to run it later but the idea isn't very interesting to me anymore, so I'm just gonna post it here instead of hoarding it up and letting it take up my mental space.
