“Easy. We cut him out of the plans entirely and let Flint do his part.” you proposed, pointing a thumb at your buddy. “If we can feed him enough sand, then I’m sure he’ll be able to take Bee Guy’s place.”
White Rabbit tapped her chin and scrunched her face up a bit before giving you an approving nod. “That could work! Although, we’ll have to change up our plans to get that much sand, and it’ll set us back by quite a bit...” she said, popping out her pocket watch and glaring at it as if it were to blame for the delays.
“Sounds like this bank heist is slowly becoming a beach heist.” Cat said with a smug grin. “I’ll be sure to bring my swimsuit.”
Any groan that might’ve come from either you or Prowler immediately died in your throats as you considered the implications of such a prospect. Flint was the only one who had found his voice, as he was currently busy fending off White Rabbit’s attempts to put him into a frilly little dress that looked far too small for him.
“I said NO! I’m not putting it on!” he protested.
“Oh, come on! You’re a shapeshifter, aren’t you?” Lorina argued, her eyes burning with inspiration. “Quit complaining and shift that shape into this size 9! You’d be so adorable!”
You and Cat were practically doubled over in laughter at this point. Even Prowler was fighting a losing battle against suppressing a chuckle.
By the time you were able to speak again, which was clearly not soon enough by the look that Flint was giving you, you’d managed to distract White Rabbit long enough for her to leave Flint alone.
“If we’re not using Fritz in the plan anymore, let me have the bee.” you said. “He’s too dangerous to be let out.”
Lorina gave you a disappointed shrug and handed off the jar. “I don’t suppose you’d be interested in purchasing an alien bee, would you?” she tried, a weak, but hopeful smile on her face.
When you didn’t react to her proposal, she attempted to push the product off on the others. To her great disappointment, no one was biting. They were too busy giving you curious looks, no doubt wondering what you intended to do with the Nazi Bee brain.

To Flint’s great relief, the meeting was called off early due to Lorina’s need to reorganize her plans and check her equipment. Despite it being her idea, she seemed greatly bothered by the prospect of the slightest hitch in her plans.
This worked out in your favor, as you were able to arrange a meeting with the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. once more. Yet again, you found yourself sitting in the back of an empty coffee shop, tapping your foot impatiently as you traced a gloved finger over the jar’s lid. Little holes had been drilled into the top. Small enough to allow air in, but not enough to allow the creature inside to escape.
