TalOS left the Plasma Gun before him and examined it. Upon it he had placed a slither of waste upon the coils that would be a danger if the weapon was not properly cleaned. The task that he was to do was cleaning, but TalOS knew that only the specific part of the ritual was needed to commit the slow, safe activation that would clean the weapon.
Ritual was quickly cut into pieces and examined at random intervals. TalOS knew the moment in which the ritual would take effect but that did not mean the rest of the ritual was not warranted. Those parts of the Ritual could be used to sustain the Motive Force’s influence upon the weapon.
The Fabricator General began cutting off pieces of the ritual, each time he committed the rite he would remove a small piece of the actions taken which still gave the result. TalOS began to get a feeling, for at first he thought it was electricity but it was far more.
With a movement of his hand TalOS’s own soul would move through the space between him and the Plasma Gun. He felt it there and again, his body and soul catching the strands of fate which was the universe and moving them just the slightest bit. Subtle forces which moved the Universe were what TalOS wanted to examine here, and they were the most subtle of them all as his hand passed.
Symbols, gestures, words, and far greater things were at play here. TalOS could feel the power within the gestures waning and growing with every attempt he did of it. These did not correlate with the amount of the ritual he removed but something else entirely. The Motive Force is what moved through all things, thus TalOS reasoned the responses he was getting were because of other forces and items within the Universe.
TalOS was not to go so far as to leave his rooms to rush towards complete isolation. In the time he was not studying he was ruling Lucius behind a curtain of iron. He knew people were not liking the fact he could not welcome them in person, but those who tried to approach his place of labor found themselves staring down the lair of a Tyrant.
Beyond all things TalOS was now a Pariah, and will need to work with that in mind. Unless they are fully indoctrinated into the Priesthood where logic outweighs their mortal senses.
