>>6237936“What in the hell is going on here?!” another voice roars, you turning and seeing none other than King Vegeta himself, followed closely by his little brother Tarble and your dad's friend Nappa. “Zamasu?”
“YOU!!” all three of the possessed Saiyans shout, dashing towards the king. Who powers up into his Primal form as well, as does Nappa beside him. The two of them meeting the trio's charge head-on. As they do Towa charges in, swinging the spear in a decapitating strike.
“I already told you that weapon cannot affect me.” the guy says, and sure enough the spear swings, stopping just as it hits him. As if striking an invisible wall, not a flesh and blood being. Your eyes wide in shock, but forced to grab Haathe and Maz both, leaping away as one of the green-skinned mohawk'd guys fires a barrage of ki blasts down at the three of you. Kicking off the ground, green aura blazing you narrowly avoid the blasts, Haathe's eyes snapping open and looking around in confusion.
“What's going on? What happened?” she asks, Maz telling her she got knocked out as you fly up into the air, weaving through blasts as you see the city coming to life. Despite it being suppertime, everyone's out, and already dozens of people are turning Super Saiyan and flying over to help. And even those who can't transform are rushing in as well, not to fight but to help get everyone else clear too.
“Tch! Hold still you brat!” the one shooting at you shouts, continuing to shoot your way. Only, as you glance back see Koruza appear behing him, and the guy's head suddenly explode. As if slashed apart by invisible claws moving in opposite directions. You turn fully around, ready to thank your half-brother, only for the headless body to somehow draw a Ki Blade and turn, swinging it in a backhanded strike at Koruza. He dodges, barely, but you see it slashed through his pecs, drawing a clean line across his chest that starts bleeding as the being's head regenerates.
“Did you really think such a... Mundate attack would have any effect on me?” the creature asks, going on the attack with his blade.
“We have to get Silver out of here!” Maz shouts, you nodding. Only for Haathe to pull herself from your grip, once more transforming. But this time not raging, eyes filled with worry.
“I'll find Dr. White and get him to safety.” she says, then without waiting for a response blasts back down to the wreckage of your home. But you can't worry about him, as you look around everything is quickly devolving. It looks like the old footage of the Siege, except instead of Covenant there are green guys and pink-haired warriors fighting your friends and family. And as everything goes to hell around you, one thought persists:
You wish Dad were here. If he were here, you know everything'd turn out okay.
