>>6310976>OrcmanieWith lunar armies afoot, rumors of war between monstrous hives of insects in the far east, and news of a land far to the west it is no surprise the Orcmanie continue building up their armies, establishing stables and kennels across the land. The establishment of the new city of Orlene is no small strain of course, but the promise of fresh hands to hold sword, shield and bow in defense of Orcmanie is well worth it.
The nature of Marlene is largely that of a nature goddess. Khurnaire who have sworn to Orcmanie describe her as a nature or earth goddess who once slept beneath the lands to the south, but now walks the world, seeking something that was lost. They tell tales that she was consumed by a witch but burst free when the witch was slain. Given that many of the ex-khurnaire are slaug it takes little time for the idea of Marlene as some far flung cousin or niece to more traditional orcmanie gods to take root.
>>6311029>The Tower ArchmageFortunately for the far flung Vizari in the new world there are no more attacks on their fledgling settlement as they build it up, though lookouts spot a truly massive ship cruising nearby. The design is quite foreign of course, but parts of it almost look...Adenic in nature. A simple fort is built into the mountains to the north overlooking the bay, but there’s no denying that is a primitive thing, the settlement is undeniably lacking in many of the basics, though most pressing at the moment is steady food.
Weeping silver quickly proves to be a useful and potent focus for lightning magic, enabling a talented wizard to zip about a battlefield unleashing debilitating cracks of electrical power that twists muscles into knots and leaves wicked burns on all they touch. More subtle users can even use it to push their body to its limits, forcing muscles to work far beyond what they want to.
