Wait, your wrist...something's wrong. It's barely noticeable but there's a small green growth on your wrist.
"Uh, Colt? What's this?" You hold your wrist out to him. He slowly moves in now that the anomaly isn't holding you in a death grip.
He prods at it with his finger. The growth squirms for a moment before it blooms. "Huh. It's some flower-like thing."
On closer examination, it IS a flower. One with a few small grey petals, growing right out of your skin. It's no bigger than the tip of your pinky finger. You do a quick tug on it and, yeah, it's pretty loose. You could easily pull it off like a loose scab if you wanted to.
Yet, something tells you to not remove it. Not now, at least. The small flower closes only a few seconds after blooming, leaving only a small green bulb growing from your wrist.

Colt nervously glances around the room. "We should leave. Now." He's clearly skeeved out by what happened. You won't deny, you don't wanna be back here for a bit either. The two of you quickly exit the room before anything weirder can happen.

SACA turns its attention away from the front door to your lab. It waves at the two of you. "WAS THE WORK ORDER SATISFACTORY?"
"It was something else." You mutter, staring at the weird flower growing out of you.
"Some weird freaky shit went on there. The spic's fine and so am I." Colt puts on a shit-eating grin for show but you know what happened is bugging him out something fierce. "Uh. Got any health analyzing shit in that noggin of yours?"
"NEGATIVE. I DETECT NO ISSUE IN EITHER OF YOU, HOWEVER, WITH WHAT SENSORS I HAVE." It beeps out in a monotone voice.
"A DELIVERY HAS ARRIVED." SACA points one of its claw-like fingers to the back of the room. A propane grill and a propane canister rest against the back wall. Oh, shit, you forgot HAYDEN was supposed to deliver those.
Well. That was a weird work order but it went over well? You think?
