>>5928352I'll do my best since I've been taking notes. Also refer to my comment earlier here for some info:
>>5909527So, back in Cathagi a really long time ago everyone was slaves. A woman had to 2 sons (+5 others according to heresy). The two best known sons were named Adam and Cain. Adam, Cain and their mother Salve Reginae are the basis of the Cantonian faith. The sons grew up and preached to people to throw off their chains. At some point they had to hide and their mother Salve Reginae is tortured. The Almighty appeared before them and they returned and instigated a slave revolt after Cain is crucified. They smite the Dragon and raze the city and take their people across the water to a new land.
Once in this new land they have the Foe to deal with (Fae, Beastmen, Snakemen etc) and this is where the Church and the heretical version differ. The church simply says that "The Power of the Wild is Broken at Motte-Fallavon", whereas the heretical version states that the sons (Cain, Adam and their 5 brothers not mentioned in the church version) strike a bargain with Sin and "The Sons are Forged" and lists all the Sons of Sin (which I'll list below). The heretical version of events NOW mentions that "The Power of the Wild is Broken at Motte-Fallavon". It is at this point that Adam is martyred but the church says he was martyred at the "Hand of the Wild" whereas the heretical version refers to him as the "Sixth Son" and mentions "Five Sons turn to Sin". Next the church states that Cain "Reaps a Bloody Vengeance Against the Wild" but the heretical version again differs saying "The Seventh Son Reaps a Bloody Vengeance. Two Sins Are Chained, the Rest Scattered". Lastly the church says that "Cain and his Ten Thousand Embark to Unknown Shores" whereas the heretical version is more specific saying "The Seventh Son and his Ten Thousand Embark to Hunt the Remaining Sins."
So the church version has 12 passages and the heretical version has 13 and absolutely shatters the image the church has created as the basis of their entire system of faith. This can all be read with better formatting here
>>5909527 as mentioned.
On top of all that, we've seen mention of various sins throughout history located all over the place. We ran into Anarchy in Fallavon and managed to kill and chain him. Agony was sighted as far back as the Crusades (from what we read in a scroll, its possible he's been seen since). We discovered where we believe Abyssal was previously chained but broke free and is now responsible for the Black Sails that scare the shit out of even seasons sailors and pirates. Avarice is the current Canton Princes bodyguard and used to be known as The Paladin Sanguine, The Knight in Red, and The Crimson Chevalier among other names - he wears red armour pictured in the attachment.
If you go back and read Thread 16, I believe thats where we really started to realise what a big deal this all is but I think the first hints were dropped as early as Thread 9.
