>>6169321When you open your eyes again the second time though, she's gone. And the sound of sweet humming and the sizzle of bacon from the other room. Shes at it again... But this time, no burning smell thankfully. The soft white of morning peeks through the cracks in the blinds in the dorm room. As you walk out of the bedroom still dreary eyed from sleep you see a fully dressed Bryta smiling happily.
"Morning sleepyhead. Hope I didn't wake you. I really wanted to surprise you."
Your mind flashes back, to two days ago, when she had those disparaging thoughts about humans. Then again, you now know she wasn't exactly unique in that position. And now... Now you're not even human yourself anymore. You look down at your female body, still not used to everything.
"Everything ok?"
"No I... I was just thinking about two days ago when..." You grip your head. Bryta sets the eggs down and places her cool hand on your forehead.
"Maybe you should sit down, I'll bring you your breakfast. You... You aren't still thinking about those false allegations, are you?"
"What? No, I... I've got other stuff on my mind."
Bryta still looks concerned.
