Yuki's idea to speed dry the clothing, by having the soldiers place them over an oven has had mixed results. While your old tattered set has come out well done, Yuki's expensive and rich kimono now has a large burned spot on the back from where it almost caught alight. The soldier who was meant to watch over it, is distraught at the damage he has done. Yet it is the furthest thing from Yuki's mind. He is more concerned with the ever changing weather. For the rain has become a downpour with seemingly no end in sight. The part of the city you are currently in has the advantage of being high ground, but that it not true for much of the surrounding landscape. The heavy rain has been coming down so hard and for so long now, that a layer of water covers the streets completely. It rushes away towards lower ground, but more comes down from the sky to take its place. You can't imagine taking even one step out without immediately being soaked. You and Yuki are not locals, so you look to the soldiers who are equally mystified. They have never seen anything like this.
A look of disgust and hatred, foreign to Yuki, has found its way to the boys face as he gazes upwards to the dark sky overhead. He has been stuck this way for a long time now, planning his next move. The prisoners and two men scheduled to escort him sit and wait to be dismissed. The young women you wrestled, and Genko have been eerily quite. A black hood has been placed over their heads. They have not repositioned, or have even made a sound. You would think them dead but for their subtle breathing. You can't help but reach out towards them to make sure they are indeed alive.
"DON'T touch them." The smile returns to Yuki's face, he has finally snapped out of his stupper. "Do not touch the prisoners, I have other plans for all of you. This meeting cannot wait, I must get to the palace and present these two prisoners there is simply no two ways about it."
The captain speaks up for everyone present "You will have us fight the elements?"
"We will build a pavilion of sorts, a massive umbrella like they have at festivals. This bathhouse is full of unused construction equipment, and some of these tapestries are large enough if you tie them together. It doesn't have to look nice just get the job done."
"You must be joking, we are soldiers not carpenters."
"Captain, I have never been more serous in my life. If you value your position, you will find the motivation immediately."
