He spins the Digivice around his finger, using the little chain on its end.
"I don't talk about my other customers often. But I've promised a Digivice to one, actually. As long as they can help me find a new workshop. The girl you told me about, last time."
"Liza? Oh! How is she?!" You ask, suddenly shooting upright.
"Desperate. I didn't get to meet her new ally, but she seemed committed to it. I only offered her that bone because you told me about her. If she fails..."
He sets his hands together.
"It's no skin off my back. Sorry, Marnie, that's how business is."
<span class="mu-s">"I hope she manages to find one."</span> Phascomon mumbles.
"Is she playing it smart, at least?"
"Couldn't say. She showed up at my door without Seadramon ripping through the hallways, so that's at least a bit of common sense exercised. I'm hoping to get a call from her eventually."
That's all you can hope for. It's good to hear that she's still alive, and that she has prospects ahead of her. Whether she can deliver on Doc's mission is up to her own capabilities. It's not your place to do any begging on her behalf, so you hope that she and Seadramon perform well. And if she fails, you just hope Seadramon can make it back into the sewers.
