A bloody tithe was reaped as Lucian stepped out into the main room. Green smoke now covered everything from one end of the place to the other. Yet, as the looked, Lucian realized that there was not just two fires but three lines of fires across the field. Lucian did not need to think more and he heard the mighty roar of the Kroxigor that was within the air.
Running forward Lucian slid down a small hill and slaughtered another grouping of those mutants. They were all following one of those rodents carrying the large ringed polearms and a whip, said whip quickly striking at Lucian on reflex. The Knight did not even entertain the Skaven as he severed its torso with a simple swing of the weapon.
He kept the rush, seeing another of those Rat Ogres coming across his side as the two of them were chasing towards the same chaos. Said beast quickly changed directions and threw itself towards Lucian to which the Knight threw himself into a dodge.
Poised below another of those monsters Lucian struck, ripping out its chest with a single stroke. This one unlike the others could not ignore such a strike and fell as its beating heart spilled from the opening in its chest.
“There he is!” A mighty cheer came as Lucian looked up to see Adok sliding down to meet the human, “You lucky Umgi! You didn’t die from the collapse! Where is the other?”
“He’s here somewhere.” Lucian said as he looked around, “We lost eachother when the monsters started coming.”
As Lucian finished his words the earth under him tembled, the massive size of Bok falling upon the ground next to him as Tee-Nee-Tyny was still sitting upon him. The tongue of the lizard licking the air as its eyes were searching, “Magic near, dark magic!”
“What do you-!” Lucian felt a chill across his body as a roar came across the room. He looked to where it was coming from and there he saw that odd looking Skaven with four arms waving what was clearly a sword that glowed an aching blue chill.
“You-you will pay for all this bad-things! Face-face achievement-trophy of CLAN MOULDER!” He bellow as the ground underneath them all shook once again.
Lucian did not think much about why the tunnels needed to be so massive, or how the ratmen were easily able to make said tunnels even in places they did not have their slaves. He was thinking it was for the Rat Ogres, for getting a horde of them out into the shanty town that was Bastonne would be perfect.
He was wrong for he watched as the nearby building shattered into a billion pieces.
Things Lucian had seen before could not be described, yet this one was beyond even that. All he could say was that it was white skinned and like a worm. No other words would describe… the terror that he was facing.
And it was not alone, for the rest of the Rat Ogre batch Lucian had been slaughtering had arrived. The master of them quickly running behind the cover of his horde.
