<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-i">“Just like all the other times you broke my leg, didn’t you?”</span></span> Bernard retorts, and you can hear the smirk in his voice.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-i">“I gotta go.”</span></span> Matt tells you, trying to play off his shouting by trying to sound more calm than he actually is. You sure hope Bernard has the sense to book it.
After hanging up with Matt, though your worries about the captives are quelled for the time being, you’re still hung up about Ernst’s situation. You’re not sure how Eddie will take the news, something uncomfortable rising within you at the thought of telling him, and you don’t even think you <span class="mu-i">should</span> tell him when he’s so close to finishing the program.
Perhaps, while the guys are still gone, you can be more proactive about this whole thing...
