"Prince Alric, it is good to see you as well Lady Malevus, but the officers are all ready to continue the strategy meeting." Lieutenant Gravis said to you and tried to stifle his smirk. "The Regional Defenders have accepted Major Reginald as their leader, they won't cause any trouble to you."
"Good, I will be there in a moment." You said to him and continued. "Lieutenant, one more thing. If you interrupt us again, I will have you on the sewer cleaning duty for the rest of the year in Dawnholme."
"Of course, I will keep that in mind. Prince Alric, Lady Malevus." Gravis bowed before leaving. You looked back at Malevus and took a deep breath.
"Look at us, we haven't seen each other for a couple of days and we are already bickering like an old married couple." You said to her.
A slight blush crept up her cheeks when she realised what you had said. Oh you see how this goes.
"Now I need to go, the officers need me and in the meanwhile you will find Raleigh and apologise to him. You broke his orders even with how good intentions you think you had." You said to her and continued. "We will talk later this evening, we aren't finished."
"But marriage…" She stammered.
"Yes! And seven children, nice round number!" You replied and watched her face turn as red as her hair.
She deserved that teasing, she should have stayed in the basecamp, but now that she is here she probably won't go back. You would now need to start worrying about her, she needed to be protected.
But now, the officers.

Everyone was here, two younger Regional Defender officers had joined you as well and Major Reginald had taken the spot where Garithos had sat before.
"Let's get this over with, we have already wasted enough time with this silly business." You said to them.
