>>5796739A while later you felt the cart stopping. You had continued talking with Garrick about the armours and your neighbours. But now you had reached Dawnholme and it was time to get out and back into the fresh air.
You opened the door and jumped out. Your legs feel a bit stiff from sitting cross-legged so you stretched them and your back a bit, even though you felt rather relaxed otherwise. Having smoked the shimmerweed, you really felt its effects. You felt relaxed and light, muscle ache from this morning's sparring was gone, the warmth spread around your body and mixed with the scorching hot feeling of Lady Nalice's mana. Oh this was a good feeling.
"Prince Alric, is everything alright?" Malevus asked you as you continued to stretch.
"I have never felt better." You said back to her, that wasn't a lie, you did feel very good right now. "Just a bit cramped in there."
"Your eyes are a bit red too Prince Alric." Malevus asked you.
"The brazier smoked and didn't burn cleanly." You lied to her. She seemed to accept that as an answer.
Garrick Blacksteel followed right behind you as he climbed out of the cart.
The knights and others had organised the troops to be ready to welcome you. There were the Royal Foot Guards with Lieutenant Cromwell, flanked by Sir Gravis and the knights, a group of normal footmen and then the crossbowmen. Even some of the City Guards had taken up their arms and joined them. The soldiers stood at attention while the flag of Alterac fluttered in the wind.
The riders were a bit nervous at the sight of this many armed men, but the Dark Irons and Garrick just looked at them calmly.
"Shall we?" You asked him and Garrick nodded to you.
>Full inspection of the troops present. Make it a bit of a show and present the men to Garrick Blacksteel.>Have the troops present them to you. A quicker ceremony, yet fitting to the situation. Don't make this into a bigger thing.>Skip the inspection after brief reception and have the cargo moved inside the barracks quickly.>Other, write in.
