>>5669817Inside you’re met with a room covered in bizarre scribbles, on every free space on the walls, the floor, even the roof. All in some kind of black ink, and something that looks suspiciously like blood. The number 5. Everywhere. And some kind of strange five-pronged symbol, almost like a star. You’re so taken aback at first you don’t even the notice the man huddled in the corner.
Number 5 is the one who squats next to him and tries to awaken him. The man shrinks from his touch.
“Get away!”
You look around. There’s nothing else here. Not even a bed. You walk over to the two of them, hunkering down next to Number 5.
“You! I don’t know you.”
You’re not sure how to respond. You were expecting something dangerous, maybe a monster or some kind of hell portal. Not a crazy D-Boy, which he is, judging from the jumpsuit; same as you and Number 5. But what’s he doing here? You decide to try some questions.
>Hi. How are you? Do you know how you got here? The reaction is immediate.
“No! Bad, bad things happening! Don’t want to know anymore! Nobody knows! My room now!”
He continues to cower in the corner, casting suspicious glances at you and Number 5. Not much to go on. He’s somewhat aware of things, and it’s his room. Or…?
>Aleksey? The man falls quiet. Number 5 is watching you.
>Do… do you know what’s going on?Before he can respond, Number 5 interjects.
“I sure don’t know what’s going on, but I’m still sane, as deep as I am. You really think this guy can help?
The man glances at you.
“It’s dangerous out there.”
