The moment he gave the order the Knights around him stiffened. They had heard him there is no doubt. But they too were fighting their Machine Spirits in a war of the mind. The moment Fredric took a step the spell that was holding his fellow Knights still had been broken.
After all, what was more dishonorable than failing to heed the orders of your Lord?
One after another they began the retreat as the Castillans, Crusaders, and Prophyrions came into a line. A series of shots were rung out over the shoulders of the retreat into the Xenos that were quickly coming upon them.
The sound of stomping was in the air as the Xenos Knights quickly began their ascent towards them. Such firepower being present easily crumbled the Xenos as they raised their hands in a defense against the shots but none were able to escape unscathe. It was when the Volcano Lances and Magna Lascannons went into them and cut a swathe through their ranks.
Fredric turned about as he was standing right before his fellow Knights towards the enemy. From this single moment along he watched as the Xenos had three of the Heathonist Knights crumpled into dust from the sheer firepower that was being presented. He did not delay in joining his Avenger Gatling Cannon to the onslaught.
With the full power of the Knight Force around seven of the Xenos fell to the full weight of firepower.
Then they received the Xenos’s foul sorcery.
