You’ll meet with this Hanno guy in the kitchen. Despite everything you learned during the game, he maintains himself as a big question mark. This will possibly be the last stop before the celebration begins, so you hope it doesn’t take that long.
It is as you were told, the beefy guy is helping out in the kitchen — wearing an apron and all. You’d confuse him with a regular employee if not for the fact that you only have seen the Jackey Frosties Man working here and no one else since your first visit. This is not the time to delve into a dumb conspiracy.
Hanno is moving and opening boxes with the merchandise. Also, you took note of the backroom adjacent to the kitchen with the bed, where Dempsey is resting. If the boxer is listening to anything, he must have his ear on the wall. Either way, you grab the big man’s attention by waving your hand.
“You came here to lend a hand? That’s very generous of you, but I got this.” Hanno smiles at you.
“Eh, if it speeds things up a bit. I don’t mind.” You weren’t planning on helping, but since you’re here…
“I insist that you don’t insist.” Hanno chuckles. “Everyone will be up in arms if they see you still working after everything you’ve done for them.”
“Well, you don’t mind catching a short break then? I want to chat for a bit, see how you are doing.” You think it’d be better if you two relax.
“Haha, it’d be my pleasure in that case. As far as I can tell, I’m ahead of production.” Hanno leaves the box he’s carrying on a kitchen table, opens it, and leaves it there. “Don’t know if you heard me, but congratulations on your victory.”
“Thanks.” You think he’s a nice enough guy but...
You have an odd feeling going through your body, it’s telling you to be careful with your words — ever since he mentioned your mom (even if by accident or purposefully) you’ve been on edge, and the distinctive flame doesn’t help either. But uneasiness aside, you don’t believe he’s actively dangerous. What a weird mix.
