>>5688256Thistle rubs his head, feeling as if he saw the face of the angel for a moment. The sounds of machinery and the errant whistling of steam did little ease his head trauma. Slowly the the scam artist stood up noticing that he’s in some sort of cramped crevice.
With a grunt he climbed out of his hole, where he likely belonged only for the dark pits he calls eyes to be blinded by an improbable sight. A bronze city, stands before him with towering spires of copper accented by lines of blue and white.
Blue lines of light traced up the sides of the castles like power lines lighting up the area. Holy crap, whoever lives here must be loaded! Just as the plant gets his bearings he hears a girlish sounding scream from above and he has the feeling it isn’t the angel.
Blue and Boisterous lands on top of him as Thistle attempt’s to admire the view. Causing Thistle to squash back down, cracking a few branches. The bark beings face meets the dirt once more. Perhaps this is where he truly belongs? Is this want the universe is trying tell him?
“Ooh…What happened?” Berdly rubs his head. But before the bird or the bark can say anything the feel the looming sound of the cat falling. Both of them feel a shadow loom over them as the realization hits the brothers in con-art.
“It was a good life.” Berdly says with dramatic tears in his eyes. As the meteoric mass nears them.
“Yeah.” Thistle says in acceptance. As the heavy set cat landed atop of them.
Both parties felt their assorted organs cry out in pain. As the third member of the group lands on them.
“Hey, Catti…” Thistle says at the bottom of the body pile. His voice forced as he’s fighting back the cries of agony. Berdly does not take the stubborn approach he takes the Berdly approach, so naturally he wails at his spine being forcibly bent.
“Ow, oh. Sorry.” Catti says as she pushed herself off of her crushed childhood friends.
The bruised Berdly and Thistle get up, groaning in pain. And cracking their backs in unison.
“Where the hell are we?” The broken nerd asks looking around at the bronze techno scape.
“I mean, this could be hell.” Catti answers honestly
“Don’t even joke about….why are you wearing a costume?” Berdly’s nervous anger quickly turned to genuine confusion. Catti blinks and looks down at herself, noticing her casual attire had changed.
