"He's a little shy around strangers, but he's well trained and housebroken, yeah," Louis raises his voice mockingly and you snicker as Mitch's silhouette makes several rude gestures. "But I trust him with my life. A good man and a good arm."
"So, what's your plan for getting out of here?"
"After he's done cleaning up and repairing his gear, we'll be heading back out. This resupply point is pretty far down. We won't be able to come back here until the current situation is resolved." He reaches around his back and takes the boxy communications set. "Me and Mitch were split from the rest of our unit during an ambush. No signal from either the Captain or HQ, so we're trying to try and regroup further upwards."
"You think it could be another blackout on the surface?" With the current state of P Company, it's no wonder that the power crisis is getting worse and worse. That's probably why they hired you in the first place.
"They could be cutting some of the wires, but puncturing a pipe this far down is too big of a risk. The phenomenon could be anomalous in origin. Hm."
>How do you want to proceed?- "Northern tunnels have less overt dangers, but there is more anomalous activity in the region. The topography is... unusual to say the least. Stay on your feet."
- "A lot of things fall down in the southern canals. Faster to travel through, but some things survive the journey down here. And there's sewer gators."
- "The West is absolutely crawling with Ghouls. Something has been riling them up, but we can sneak past the main groups. Suspiciously quiet as of late, I don't like it."
