It doesn't take long for you three to stand outside of the Avalon Theatre. Now that you're in front of it in person, you now realize the sheer scope of how massive it is. While the original luster has long since faded, the sheer size of the building still hints you at what it used to be.
Giant stained glass windows that have been shattered. Giant posters of classic movies barely legible through weather damage. The staircase leading up to the entrance has dozens on dozens of giant steps. A long, flowing red carpet torn to shreds near the front of the entrance. You can almost imagine how it used to be.
There's a longing, wistful look in Maruyama's eyes as he looks at what used to be. "It's a shame. I'm not much for the people who occupy it but the upper-class sure knew how to make a place look good."
Kiara is already rushing up the stairs as fast as she can. CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! She really isn't trying to be stealthy here, huh? You start climbing up the stairs with Maruyama in tow. You manage to get to the set of double doors without much hassle aside from a tired, worn out man in his 30s staggering behind.
Despite this, he pulls open the door to let you and Kiara in first. You narrow your eyes but you accept the gesture.

It is shockingly intact inside of the lobby. Not to say it's in great condition but it's oddly well kept for a place that's been abandoned for over half a century. Ignoring the moss growing all over the place and the obvious water damage, of course. The clear amount of effort spent to make it as fancy as possible is evident when your eyes adjust to the low light.
Just looking up is making you dizzy from how high the ceiling is going up. A sparkling chandelier hangs onto the ceiling with a barely hanging together rusted chain.
A massive staircase stands in the middle of the lobby that spirals up and up and up, presumably to where guests go to sit and watch the shows themselves. Closer to the entrance is a ticket booth with a computer that still seems to be powered on somehow. You take a look at the map to see where you can go from here.
Looking between the actual lobby and the rough map, you link together that the two hallways with keycard locked doors correspond to the Actor dress rooms and the way to the backstage for the left one. The right one leads to the Managerial and Storage section. It would normally be a pain in the ass to lockpick those open but you do have a keycard that can open them!
Your allies are busy wandering around the lobby, trying to piece together whatever they can here. You take a moment to think on how you want to proceed forwards. How to proceed from here?
