As Guilliman walked into the place he felt his understanding of the world be somewhat shaken. Sure there had been times that Guilliman did not know what was around him. Those were the times where he learned that he did not know everything, and that he would need to seek many answers to life out. Before him, Guilliman did not know where to start.
Numerous pieces and bits of technology were strung about the place with either a careless mind or one who did not care for how things looked. Some parts he recognized, many of them foreign to him. Of all the things he should recognize, a teleportation beacon was something that Guilliman did not think he would see again strung out in the open.
The only other time he had seen such technology was in the possession of the Emperor’s personal guard.
The two of them took seats at a table which seemed to have been created for men just of their size. That would have been Practical if Roboute did not notice the age and wearing down the table had taken as if someone was hitting it with a hammer over several years.
“Has something caught your eye brother?” His brother asked, obviously noticing where he was looking.
An odd time to ask that question but Guilliman was not going to be one to judge, “This table was not built for you, was it? Was it a work table for someone?”
“It is my parents, as we are in their workshop.” TalOS answered his brother as he rubbed his human hands on the table, “This table is not the normal one my folks used, so I can only assume they were using the standard table for some work in the back.”
Understanding was reached and it was sound. However that was only understanding in one aspect, “Why have you chosen this venue?”
“Because my mother’s cooking is the best.” TalOS said simply.
Roboute Gulliman, Primarch of the 13th Legion Warborn and Master of Macragge, allowed a burst of laughter to come from himself upon such a simple explanation. His humors settled as fast as they became unbalanced leaving him with a warm heart.
“Mother’s cooking, when was the last time Tarasha fed me with her own cooking.” Guilliman said as he thought to himself, “It does not matter, I look forward to having a meal that you recommend brother.”
“It will be one to remember.” TalOS answered back, “Each of our brothers I know feel that.”
