Whatever fear the Skaven had for Lucian and his team it was multiplied twenty fold upon the appearance of the Kroxigor. The horde stopped in their traces as the nearly eight feet tall Kroxigor rose to its full height. Lucian looked back to see Tee-Nee-Tyny rising from behind the creature and already casting a spell.
Quickly an onset of wind roared through the tunnel as magic snared the air in a vicelike grip. With a single motion the Skink drove all the rotten air that was threatening to consume the warriors out through the well with a fury that threw Skaven across the walls and floor.
The three warriors were already taking advantage of the fight and charging forward towards the rear. The terror of the Skaven causing many to fall down and be caught into the maelstrom of death which the well lit portion was quickly becoming. Any of those rats which came close were turned into butchered meats as Bok began his reign of terror against all Skaven kind.
Magics from Adok made the torrent of mayhem simply brush across their armor and bodies, failing to take any grip upon them as they advanced towards the rearmost horrors. There, just in that moment, Lucian caught sight of the creature who was commanding these ratmen to their deaths.
His fur was grey and long with black spots, beady red eyes that contained an intelligence far beyond anything that Lucian would have been comfortable knowing of. He was simply mortified by the creature having four arms instead of the expected two arms that all of these other Skaven had.
“F-Flee-Run! Vengeance-Revenge will be mine!” The rat yelled as he somehow ran against the winds deeper into the cave.
While they were resistant to the winds and mud there was still impediment by the hundreds of Skaven who were struggling to flee with their leader.
Where Lucian stood, it was apparent that things were worse than he could have thought before. Whatever these dreadful beastmen were, they surely have the magical sword if their original guess was correct.
