The wet pops coming from the pregnant woman already made it pretty clear where most of them were, and with just a few well placed stomps, you and Guts managed to kill the baby spiders before they were about to hatch. Thankfull none of them turned into actual infants once they were killed.
"Her stomach still looks pretty distended for someone who laid so many eggs. Are there more of them?" Guts thinks that Jodi should be looking a bit more flabby by now, and sure enough, a closer look at her womb showed that several spiders were hatching inside of her, squirming to get out as they got crushed on each other. If any more of them hatch, it could be enough for her to burst from the inside.
"More spiders confirmed."
"How many?"
"Several, she's going to die if we don't exorcise her."
"You... can actually do that?"
"No clue, don't even know if there's an evil spirit inside her, but I figure I can at least kill the ones in her womb before her stomach opens up." You have no idea what you are actually doing, but you've already dealt with enough spiders to last a lifetime, and no doubt the hunting couple feels the same way.
With deep breaths, you charge your body with purifying Od and crouch over Jodi's seat, but before you could spread her legs open or touch her body-
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH MY WIFE!?" An array of pellets come flying at your face, their impact knocking you over as Guts' blocking with his sword impedes it from doing further damage to your face.
"I always heard rumors you grew up to be a womanizer, Vlad. But copping a feel on a pregnant lady's private parts in front of her husband? Not the worst I've seen, but it's pretty lowly of you." Serpico awkwardly chimes in, restraining Hyde in a nelson-hold as he witnesses a scene that he clearly wishes he could not be a part of.
"S-Serpico? How did you get here?" You gulp after hearing Farnese's knight seeing you in a vulnerable state.
"My commander made me work in the dead of night with her to roll a boulder off the main path. And wouldn't you know, a hunter was there to tell us the whereabouts of the black swordsman, along with some knight by the name of Vlad."
"YOU'RE DEAD! LET ME GO! I AM THIS CLOSE FROM BASHING HIS FUCKING SKULL IN!" Hyde is still fuming after seeing you supposedly trying to fist his lover.
"Now, I can't really say I care much abouy your opinions on poligamy. What you do in the mountains is your business. But I ultimately came here because I will never hear the end of it if she gets to know I found the two of you without apprehending either. The other knights will soon be here, and since the only other option to get out of here is death, I thought that this would be a good time to propose a peaceful surrendering, for approximately the 3rd time, but still."
