" Finally, a *personal request*, though you would have scant reason to acquisce to it and I make this request bereft of the benefits of my rank, honorary though it may be. I am not so fulminant these days.
The 2nd Cohort is monstrously undermanned and even if we have managed to pull survivors from the massacre and a few perimeter patrols will filter in over the next day, we would *still* be undermanned. To make it to Sheepwoe is simple, but to reinforce the position, rally any outlying patrols and erect a new Command Station for a longer campaign will be a challenge. I will accomplish this task while you roam the region, preventing our total collapse.
Then, shall we both be succesful, we will reconnect, pool our intelligence, and locate the passway the Flamespeakers are using to slink across the mountain-chains they should not be able to bypass. In the end, even if we alleviate any problems in Elos and destroy the Sparksworn that are past us, it will be for naught if we do not block their new route.
In another life, I would have needed no assistance. Requesting this does not come easy to someone who once possessed the will required to move mountains and the instinct to do so.
Still, I bent my steelsoul to the people at the behest of my old commanding officer. Some things are *crimes* and will not be on my Watch, and the Sunsworn burned by allegiance by their actions. For the sake of peace, I gave up many things, went east, and took up a vigil on a quiet station and wished to while away the years in service anonymous to in a region quiet. I am *lessened*, in scope, scale and skin. But I find that in being lessed, I have at least reclaimed a sliver of my sense of softness. And sometimes, at night, I dream of friends and not the stain of mud and mire.
It's been good, out here. The people are kind, and though I don't hold with sheep cheese, at least you can get decent enough lemons in Fideli. I thought I'd played all the part in all the wars I would ever have to. I have very little desire to fight another one. I am tired veteran who have seen too many short, victorious campaigns.
But the Flamespeakers have killed most of my command, ravaged my troops and judging by the findings of your Chemicae they have taken violation to a height I could never even contemplate, despite the orders I was given, once, on different soil.
So. My request is simple. It appears despite it all, war has found me once again. So, there are preparations to be made and old oaths to re-swear.
Hand me any supplies you can spare, and the business ahead will be made easier. "

>We are currently [WELL SUPPLIED]. Pick a number between 0 and 10, as a rough weighting of how much you are willing to part with, if any. 10 being "everything we can feasibly spare", 0 being no thanks or something in-between.
>Offering materials to other field units depletes the supplies we have available unitl a proper supply route is re-established!
