As he was the leader TalOS stood tall above everyone, with the only member at his side being Fabricator Locum ADM1N ready to act on his behalf. TalOS scouted the room with his eyes for a last minute of study so that he would have the ability to understand their feelings. The Nobles who felt his glare creeped deeper into their chairs.
Their minds were confused. Before TalOS was a normal person that did not even seem too superhuman to them. Now, without the Blackstone to hold him back, TalOS was a monster which tore into their previous notions of reality. If they thought that the reality was plain and were skeptical to things such as gods and daemons, they were second guessing those thoughts.
As he turned towards the Knights they were in a similar form, but many of them stood up to what TalOS was displaying. To show his thanks to them TalOS gave them a nod of affirmation, some even having the power to nod back as TalOS’s attention had singled them out.
For the Priests many also stayed stoic, but the Noosphere was alight with activity about how to balance themselves against TalOS’s gaze. Such trading of tips TalOS did not mind, since he wanted things to be closer to normal than for him to be seen as a tyrant.
With his examination done he spoke, +My Brotherin, Warriors, and Nobility; it is my honor to once again walk among you in this esteemed chamber. By the will of the Machine God I live, with today we will administer his will.+
TalOS allowed a subtle moment for everyone to take in his words, +In the time that I was gone Fabricator Locum ADM1N had taken charge and operated the Federation as well as he could. But the peace that the Federation experienced was not just because of ADM1N but all of you, for with your powers combined you have supported his reign! To that I am grateful and know that when the ultimate fate befalls me that the Federation will prosper!+
The speech was a combination of praise and might that quickly overrode the previous feelings of those present. TalOS learned with his sons that the presence of a Pariah could be overwhelmed through the increase of everyone’s will, and as such he raised their spirits by upbringing his own.
Though he had no presence in the Warp it did not mean TalOS couldn’t touch their souls. All else held equal, TalOS began to realize that he could succeed in touching their hearts now more than he ever could.
