You introduce yourself properly, and then ask if it's alright to get access to some age appropriate manga for Tamako. You ask if you could as well. You want to brush up on your knowledge of fairies considering your new career.
"You won't be able to check out anything right at this moment since you don't have any clearence. B-but if you are interested in looking up fairies you should just try the archive's database! It should contain pages on all sorts of fairies, as well as guides and tips for field agents. You can even access from the screen in your room." Seshat says, then looking a bit downcast continues, "...The digital age is pretty amazing, huh?"
While filling out the paperwork and helping Tamako fill out hers, you ask if the archive has any books on cursed objects. You recently came in contact with some Unseelie who put a cursed ring on you.
"You've had run-ins with those meanies? That's no good... We definitely have some books on Unseelie here, though the digital archive's information is probably more up to date..." Seshat remarks. "Um, but anyway, a book on curses might be something I can actually help with once you get a pass. I'm a bit of a curse researcher in my own fashion, so I know a lot of the books here and in the high security section have some sort of curse on them, and many old writings on cataloguing them exist."
"Wait, is that where the idea for that cursed stapler came from?" Kamiko asks.
Seshat giggles at this, and then catching your eye hides her face with her book in embarrassment. "Yes, though the real thing was a rope that bound two things together permanently."
You ask what they are talking about.
"She runs a game of Cubicles & Coworkers. It's a bit like D&D. Sort of." Kamiko explains.
You find it a bit hard to believe Seshat could public speak well enough to GM, but Kamiko doesn't seem to be kidding.
"If you are interested, you could stop by during a session..." The Egyptian themed woman says, "We are always looking for new players. It's just Kamiko, Zul, Hilde, and I at the moment. If I'm not mistaken, you know them already, right?"
You finish filling out the paperwork, and Kamiko is gracious enough to borrow a manga for today so Tamako can return to the living area with some sort of prize. While the other two go to the shelf with the books, Tamako jabs you in the ribs again.
"She likes anime and plays TTRPGs? Yup, sounds like a keeper." Your daughter says nodding sagely.
You ask how she could jump to Seshat as a mom right after the discussion they had earlier.
"Not her, Kamiko! I mean Seshat too, but she seems kinda... Weak, you know?"
The two return, holding a shoujo manga with a cover containing a young girl with a microphone and a small fairy beside her. It appears to be a magical girl series of some kind about the girl becoming an idol. The pair assure you hit's safe to read for children
"Is there... Anything else I can help you with?" Seshat asks.
