>>6110310Not only that, but I was also maneuvering Alric politically into a rather particular situation. I noticed the two of them being buddy buddy towards one another and I didn't like that one bit, so this should place a rift between them as not to lose face, Blackmoore will be forced to concede that Garithos is completely out of line, and maybe even suggest a punishment, thus eliminating any possibility of friendship or a peaceful resolution between the two. If there was a chance that Garithos and Blackmoore could have conspired, now there won't be one, as Blackmoore will be forced to take the side of the "Alteraci bastard" and seeing how pig-headead and arrogant Garithos is, no overture will reach his ears from Blackmoore's side anymore. I am making sure that Blackmoore has no one but us to turn to. The questions you are asking are good too, it'd be interesting to find out what do the traditions say in regards to such a situation, but there's another thing about Garithos that makes him useful.
He is stupid, arrogant and bullheaded. Those traits make him predictable, as despicable and annoying as he might be. If we slay him, we do not know who might be sent as his replacement. Perhaps someone more unpredictable and more shrewd, a man that can't just be strung along with rhetoric. And the last thing we need is Lordaeron sending someone whose head is not stuck inside of his ass to mess up our business. It's why I am not too concerned with decapitating him, even if it would offer immediate benefits.
