>>6299389The new iron causes much excitement in Ordalan. Not only for the economic benefits, but because the Nixen had once had great iron mines before the great war. The loss of iron is thought responsible for a great deal of our misfortunes, but now, we have it, and we will soon have more.
>Action 1: Expanding the Iron Mine of Vermillion Grave.Hearing of the iron coming from the south, Sturnes itself responds. The nobles there convince a large number of seasoned silver miners to go to Vermillion Grave to help dig iron instead. In fact, it doesn't take much convincing as iron has become quite valuable in absence of a local supply. This influx of not just workers but experienced workers, as well as generous investments by the Sturnes nobles, leads to rapid growth of the mine in the area.
>Action 2: The Songwing's Flight. Refinement on the Feathersong, to allow them to go higher and further, courtesy of Baron Redwing.Since his failure to capture the sky piratess, Baron Gustav of house Redwing has been hard at work developing the Feathersong. Consulting the Chaerda teachers, they are more interested in the Arrowsong itself, but do admire the drive of Baron Redwing. So they provide the guidance they can to let the Anelks come closer to the flight the Aripan has been lording over them. The new training allow even trainees to achieve longer flights than the masters of old. And while the use of bow and arrow is still held in high regard, the velocity of flight removes the issue of the sword's range. Baron Redwing particularly favours the flying sword style, as legend has it house Redwing gained its name from one Anelk who stained her wings completely red with the blood of the enemies she cut down.
