When the discussions were finished with everyone began making their own way out. The majority of those present went their own way, which for TalOS was something he somewhat expected. TalOS was friendly with everyone, but felt that he had a real connection to only one fellow.
For his pathway out TalOS decided that he would follow his brother Dorn out. Already TalOS needed to prepare battle plans with his brother so he started walking in the Imperial Fist’s direction without much worry within his heart.
After all it was not only because he was approaching his brother with the idea of battle plans, but genuine companionship. Even if they shared a small discussion between one and the other their relationship transcended their persons into their Legions themselves.
So TalOS made his way in that direction which became somewhat interesting when he was now walking next to Guilliman. TalOS glanced at his brother with a pristine smile as they breached the doors going into an outerhall. There was unease there, an unease that TalOS only felt from Guilliman whose emotions were closer to the surface than his other brothers.
Even as his senses betrayed him Guilliman gave a grin in return, “It has been a while brother. I cannot thank you enough for all that you have given Ultramar.”
“I can imagine it well enough.” TalOS told his brother as TalOS’s eyes adjusted to the new scenery that was of paintings and gold.
“The Titan Legions guard Macragge well, and those that joined me in the Crusade. With the presence of those War Machines I know that thousands of lives, both Astartes and Human, have been saved by those God Machines.”
“Your words should be given to the Princeps of such mighty war machines.” TalOS directed as he gave a hearty laugh, “They will be honored to hear such words from a brother of mine.”
“I have already done so.” Guilliman answered with a genuine laugh of his own, “My thanks is for you as well as them. Thank you.”
“I am honored by your graciousness.” TalOS admitted as he gave a courteous bow before he had a small moment of realization, “Have you met Rogal Dorn before?”
“I have not met him before but read the reports. I heard the two of you had gotten along, so would you be willing to introduce me to him?” Guilliman said with the guile of a seasoned politician.
“That is not a problem.” TalOS informed his brother as he led the way with a powerful stride.
