No need to unpack shit because the game's on github (as well as several mods I could reference from), managing files is no problem if you upload and edit to github directly (and open it via chrome in tabs), editing pixel art is ez because I use pixel studio app (free and could save in png).
Oh, and to draw Gaol I use Ibis Paint X, very easy to use.
Have an alien critter I drew in like, 5-10 minutes.
