She's gambling with her life, but there's the world to gain, in her view. Beta, meanwhile, has not even attempted to decline a mission. Mostly because you don't want to test the consequences, leashes, or overrides while keeping a good relationship with Pilots, Command, and everyone else.
Delta may also have a rather serious grudge over you foiling her first and only escape attempt that had a chance of working. As she knows that her e-war is inadequate by comparison to yours, the more direct route of taking it out on you is denied.
