Until the Russ has been discovered, it is still our awesome tank and still better than the stuff the enemy is throwing at us. Having a tank is better than not having a tank. More importantly, if we are master crafting our guns we are surely master crafting our tanks.
I firmly believe with a proper upgrade action TalOS pattern Malcadors could be made a comparable match to a standard Leeman Russ fresh out of the STC. Meanwhile with the Russ tank you better believe we'll be upgrading the hell out of that until they match predators.
And then we turn the predators into Repulsors when they exist.

We should certainly keep them both their lines of production as we have well established them culturally at this rate, which is also good because we now have two lines of production for producing super soldiers which will greatly bolster our numbers.
