>>5377376>>5377388>>5377409I'm betting QM is going to use an existing SM stratagem/doctrine for Lorch if >HOLD THE LINE goes through, either from the general Codex or maybe even modeled off of a brotherly legion like the Xths "Reject the Flesh, Embrace the Machine" or XVIIIths "Stand your Ground", or potentially if Lorch he perishes "Only In Death Does Duty End".
Be cool if the existence of the Magnificat lets us use "Transhumanist Physiology"
In any case, if we wanted TalOS to adopt a series of combat doctrines of his own, to differentiate the 2nd from the rest of the Imperium's Space Marines, what should they be like? I had the idea of potentially basing them partly from Forge World's Dogma's we've rediscovered/will rediscover and partly from those traits from other Legions TalOS has observed and collected data on either directly or from afar.
For example, in this case, Graia's resilience (who may be on the border of Segmentum Tempestus south of Segmentum Solar and thus theoretically rediscovered right now) could be of use here.
These doctrine ideas are just me spitballing ideas, and are all taken from other sources in either Codex SM or Codex Mechanicus. Are they balanced? Ha, fuck no, I just went with what seemed cool. But perhaps they could be balanced by someone who has intimate knowledge of 40k 9th ed?
Or just help come up with ideas!
Otherwise, I guess we really will just use Bobby's old formula after all. . .
