The two of you leap down to the inner ring and begin tailing the party ahead. Observing their tactics gives you a general idea of their skill level. It seems that Skyfrost’s earlier judgement was on the mark. At times, you notice the DPS messing up their target priority, executing redundant attacks, while the tank pulls at an irregular pace, almost like he’s taking the time to make sure the whole party is ready before engaging each pack.
A few minutes later, the party encounters one of the stronger patrols consisting of four giant spiders. This is the chance to strike.
The dagger-axe tank, after casting multiple buffs, charges forward, drawing the attention of his arachnid foes. The DPS follow up shortly after he generates enough aggro. However, the glaive user, perhaps eager to pad his numbers, casts a hard-hitting AOE a bit too soon, causing two of the eight-legged monstrosities to target him.
Without the need to even communicate, the both of you know it's time to enter the fray!
One third of your qi dissipates as you activate a series of your own buffs in the short period it takes to close the distance to the healer.
[Blessing of the Wind] activated, movement speed increased for 60 seconds.
[Blessing of the Elements] activated, cast times reduced for the next 7 seconds.
[Warrior Soul] activated, physical attack and attack speed increased for 60 seconds.
[Berserker Soul] activated, physical attack, attack speed, and damage taken increased for 10 seconds.
[Ordained Harmony] activated, magical attack increased for 10 seconds.
[Raging Phoenix Talon] activated, for the next 3 seconds, all attacks will send out a wave of fire qi.
You fire a small wave of flames towards the pack of mobs to activate the effect of your [Headband of the Solitary General] (only activates when the number of entities aggroed by/number of players attacking your party exceeds the number of party members).
Finally, you unleash one of your big cooldowns, your qi pool dropping to 50%.
[Command of the Supreme Lord (太君绝令)] activated, all damage, attack speed, and movement speed increased for 10 seconds. Additionally, all party members gain the [Roused Spirits] buff; the next attack of all party members is a guaranteed critical hit.
A surging tide of flames roars towards the guqin healer, not unlike a raging beast charging towards its prey. At the same time, Skyfrost’s sword takes flight, purple starlight trailing along its path, drawing violet lines across the battlefield.

Both attacks strike at the same time. Both a critical hit. Both shaking the dungeon floor.
