Your parents go dead silence with shock.
"That's impossible! The tracker says she's in her room, her cellphone hasn't moved at all!" Your mother bursts out and storms upstairs to your sister's bedroom to check.

What?... Mom is tracking your little sister through her cellphone? There's no way Kasumi would agree to something like that willingly. Perhaps relations between your little sister and your parents are a lot more strained than you realized. You didn't pay attention because you were too focused on your own problems.
The genkan entrance is once again the site of a scuffle. Your father's outraged cries and the thumping of feet show that the cop must have shoved your burly father out of the way to scramble up the stairs to try and arrest you.
"Stop you fucking drunk! I am not letting my son go with the likes of you!" Your father shouts and chases after the cop. The narrow stairs seemed to be giving the drunk some trouble.
You take this opportunity to escape through the now cleared front entrance. Shoving your feet into your shoes, you scramble to run outside. There are many small dirt roads that no patrol car can enter, taking one of those winding bumpy paths will let you escape. The moon hangs in the sky, large and bright, to illuminate the fields of Kasuga. The silence is stunning at this hour. You can literally hear the river rushing past miles away. Even the wind shaking the trees sounds very loud.
In that deep silence, the most idiotic thing happens. Your cellphone rings extra loud because you forgot you specifically set the ringtone to max volume if your mother tries to call. You can't stop the ringing quick enough.
