>>5740372“Very well. When she first stopped time after you'd landed, the two of you talked as you clearly reached out to Chilli. How she talked about your power being 'wrong',” Towa says, summing up the battle as how your son nearly killed her, the Supreme Kai of Time rewinding herself and undoing the damage. But then she snaps her fingers, disappearing and ending the time stop.
“That was all you'd seen?” you ask, Towa growing even more worried. “Karn, what happened?”
“When she snapped her fingers, she didn't leave.” you say, Towa's jaw dropping a bit in shock. “She somehow stopped time more, walking past me and saying how your son could 'do a lot of good one day, if he fought for the right side', and then what she said to you. How the two of you 'always' fight the same way, only for Mechikabura to 'always' betray you and force you to turn to her for help getting revenge against the Demon God. And, even more worryingly, how Mechikabura presumably 'infected' the Berserker Soul from the other reality with his own power to control you when tapping into it. Towa listens quietly as you talk, looking more and more shocked as you continue. Ending with how, before she left said that you only had a few more years of peace left.
Once you finish talking Towa doesn't immediately answer, sitting on her floating god-slaying spear Godsend as she puts a hand to her chin. The silence hangs over you both as Towa thinks over what all you said to herself. However, as the two of you stay in the room silently, you feel your attention being drawn to the stone table. With Towa deep in thought you walk over to it, looking at the strange sigils and symbols carved into it. Several seem almost designed to catch and pool the blood spilt upon it, while others clearly directed the flow of fresh blood towards them. Making you wonder what sort of rituals this other Towa conducted, and how that might have been connected to the Dark lurking down below on the lowest level.
“This is bad.” Towa finally says, you turning to her to see her worried face. “If Mechikabura doesn't know this, then we could all be walking into a trap invading Conton City. But if he does, then are they on the same side? Have the two of them just been resetting time over and over again, playing a never ending game with our lives? I don't like the implications, and I hate being in the dark worse.”
“But what can we DO about it?” you ask her. “How do WE win and come out on top?”
“I don't know.” Towa replies, sighing out and sounding defeated. “I just don't know. Without more information, there's little we can do.”
