After uniting with the strongest apostles that would serve The Reborn Falcons, Griffith displayed the strength that lacked in the intimidating numbers of Kushan Ganishka had at his beck and call. Saving noble Mule Wolflame and his guards from being invaded by the local troops, Griffith saved the young boy from his fate as he singlehandedly decapitated the leader of the column while his apostles distracted the masses.
Being thankful of his savior, another one was easily recruited into the Falcons along with the enemy pledges, even if they could not serve the battlefield, Griffith created something of a moving village. Gentle, smiling faces that all seemed calm and graceful.
"We can all smile because of Lord Griffith!" The other girl previously saved from the grasps of slavery was Sonia, cheerfully explaining why the human army lived in peace as Mule was quick to look for Griffith.
"M-Miss Sonia... What ab-b-bout our lessons?" The stuttering Benny seemed to be bettering his speech, now that he had time to have fun, play music and not worry about hunger or sickness, he was trying to spend more time with the girl he like. Despite his second interests, the speech practice was serving in making his oratory more eloquent, stammering a lot less, and only fumbling his words when growing nervous.
"Oh, I think we can review a few words for now, but we'll have to continue it at a latter time." She cheerfully pinched at his cheek as he frowned. "Alright, try to repeat these next few words: Haystack!"
"Haystack!"
"Current!"
"Current!"
"Incomprehensibilities!"
"Inc-Incomprehen-hen...What?"
"Maybe that might have been too much." Sonia pats his head, still congratulating him on his effort. "Keep repeating those tongue twisters until you get them right." She shifted her attention to Mule, who was given a tour of the army, how they were sectioned by their recruitment origins, and finally, the enshrouded forest where the apostles stayed in.
The only difference between the apostles who ran rampant amidst the wild to those in Griffith's Band was that they worse armor and knew how to stay still. Their deformed, humanoid faces were still the same, their eating of human flesh and necrophillic tendencies were laid to bare, and while Mule was terrified of the sight, Sonia was cheerfully walking amongst them as equals, while Benny was too distracted uttering his tongue twisters to pay attention to where he was going.
"Coming here alone again, girl?" One of the war demons licked the large foreheaded girl from head to toe as Sonia was held upside down.
"Put me down! I'm not alone!"
"Get your hands off her, Monst-" Mule attempted to draw his sword, but was easily held off by a larger entity that lifted him with a single hand.
"I haven't tasted human meat in a long time... Even if you might be too thin..."
"Don't make me tell on Lord Griffith now..."
"N-No!"
