>3 SUCCESS: You scaled the wyvern infested peaks of Fallavon in full armour. Despite the heat and thirst, you actually find this hike far easier. You reach the summit without injury.

While no Montbrun native, this maze of man-made chasms and cliffs is not the first mountain you have climbed. Indeed, unencumbered by armour and equipment you find traversing this terrain to be a great deal easier than your previous experience in the crags of northern Fallavon. You pick a winding trail, no more or less promising than the half-dozen others that seem to twist their way up closer to the summit, and stick to it as there were signs at every turn announcing that you were on the right path. Those few brave and hardy pilgrims that take this extra measure are one and all among Father Towbray’s number, and they following you with earnest belief and growing confidence. Later the doubters among the main pilgrim party would suggest that you had paid a guide to lead the way, but they’d never dare say as much within earshot of yourself.
The climb is not easy, despite your certainty that you are on the right track. The sun is at its zenith, beating down upon you with the blistering heat of the desert. Those stones not covered by shade burn the skin to the touch, dehydration sets in and your lips long for the taste of water. But you do not falter, setting one foot ahead of the other in sure-fire conviction towards the nearing summit. The trail turns treacherous, some of the pilgrims have turned back with injuries or where their courage failed them. You send Mikail with them to assist, taking only a small amount of rope and gear for the last leg. You cannot fault their attempt, you yourself are very close now.
With them gone all that is left is yourself, Father Towbray and two of his hardiest followers, Caleb and Joab. You’re helping Towbray slide lengthwise across a particularly thin stretch of trail above the cliffline leading to the final ridge when you hear something.

Your ears prick and the hairs on the back of your neck rise. Something in the wind….
