“So what is your favorite memory with a sibling?”
“That would be my sister Rosetta that visited a few years ago from her frontier tour. I brought her to the tailor for new clothing. She had plenty of stories of frontier towns having their special quirks being so far from the empire's borders. Even got to call in an artillery barrage on a bandit camp at midnight to avoid them from running. Spent like an hour making sure the camp turned into a crater.”
“Bit much for a small bandit camp?”
“Rosetta said it was better to avoid putting the nation's mages at risk and they could move on quickly to search the next sector. Plus launching enhanced fireballs looks great from her stories.”
“Was it the end of her tour or a break?”
“A break so while she could not stay for the Dust festival I at least got her new armor and clothes to handle the rugged terrain.”
“Isn't she just patrolling the frontier?”
“Apparently being far from a tailor and constantly moving wears down her clothing and lost her old armor in a magic feedback accident from a metamagic mage.”
“Hmm going off that. How are the demons not rallying against the one child policy?”
